New technology as a solution for a steadily growing problem

With Dry Phase Patterning and the DPP-360 system, flexible circuit boards can be made easier than ever before. The finished products are easier, thermal resistant and can be made from a variety of materials. The manufacture of a printed circuit board takes place within minutes, whereby a faster series production is possible than wet etched plates. In addition, the process is much more environmentally friendly than previous solutions – with up to 90% lower power consumption and completely without chemicals.

With the possibility of production in your own factory, through which the production of printed circuit boards can also be integrated into the overall sequences, many more benefits arise. Quality controls can be done in each step, the risk of loss of operating secrets is reduced and product development can be done much faster.

However, the greatest advantage is often that supply bottlenecks can be completely bypassed by producers. Thanks to its own production of important parts, the problem deals with deliveries which can lead to delays, or also a cost-intensive provision of such problems: the keeping of large warehouses of important products and parts. As a result, delivery and lead times are reduced, which greatly increases its own delivery security and flexibility – and all without major inventories.

Through Dry Phase Patterning, the conductive parts of a printed circuit board can also be integrated into a plurality of carrier materials, from plastic to paper. This not only creates maximum freedoms in the choice of material for prototypes and series production, but through direct access to fully integrable printed circuit boards can become a finished prototype from an idea within just 45 minutes.

Better for the environment

Production technology is purely mechanical, which enables a strong reduction in environmental impact – whether for printed circuit boards in the automotive industry, LED or RFID. Compared to the wet etches, only one tenth of energy and much less water are consumed, the only waste is recyclable metal.
