After the successful launch of the SUV Enyaq iV, Skoda is expanding its series to include a coupe variant. The range also includes a sporty RS version. According to Skoda, the Enyaq Coupe iV has a more emotional design and, despite its sporty lines, should offer generous space and a trunk volume of 570 liters. The drag coefficient was improved compared to the Enyaq iV, it is now Cd 0.234. Depending on the equipment, this enables ranges of up to 545 kilometers in the WLTP cycle.
The Enyaq Coupe iV is available with two battery sizes, with rear or all-wheel drive and in four power levels from 132 kW to 220 kW for the new Enyaq Coupe RS iV. As with the Enyaq iV, there is a choice of design selections for the interior instead of classic equipment lines.
“Following the successful launch of the SUV, the new Enyaq Coupe iV brings even more emotion, sportiness and elegance to the Skoda iV family. Our designers and engineers have succeeded in combining high functionality with emotional design. The new top version is also the first purely battery-electric Skoda RS model ever. The Enyaq Coupe iV perfectly combines emotion and efficiency and offers the generous space you are used to from Skoda in a particularly elegant body shape.– Thomas Schafer, CEO of Skoda
The new Skoda Enyaq Coupe iV will be produced together with the Enyaq iV at the Skoda main plant in Mladá Boleslav. This makes the two Enyaq iV variants the only models based on the modular electrification toolkit (MEB) from the Volkswagen Group that are rolling off the assembly line in Europe outside of Germany. With its structure and large wheelbase, the MEB platform opens up new options for the proportions and design of the body. Since the high-voltage battery for the drive is placed completely in the underbody and the design means that there is no center tunnel, there is also particularly generous space for the rear passengers.
The new Skoda Enyaq Coupe iV has a more emotive design than the SUV variant and, in addition to a Sportline version, is also available as the sporty top model Enyaq Coupe RS iV. It has its own sporty front apron and side skirts in the body color and is fitted with 19 to 21-inch light-alloy wheels. The roofline slopes gently backwards from the B-pillar and merges into a tailgate with a sharp spoiler lip.

The lines should also emphasize the dark-tinted panoramic glass roof, which is standard on the coupe. It is the largest panoramic glass roof in a Skoda model, takes up the entire roof area and merges seamlessly with the rear window. It’s thinner than the full roof, giving passengers plenty of headroom. The panoramic glass roof lets more light into the interior and creates a more airy feeling of space. According to the manufacturer, a special coating helps ensure that there is always a pleasant climate in the interior.
As with the Enyaq iV, the Crystal Face is also available as an option for the coupe: 131 LEDs illuminate the vertical ribs of the Skoda grille, while a horizontal light strip rounds off the visual impression. The Crystal Face is standard on the Enyaq Coupe RS iV.
Two battery sizes and four power levels
The new coupe is available in four performance levels. The performance range starts with 132 kW for the exclusively rear-wheel drive Enyaq Coupe iV 60 with 62 kWh battery (net 58 kWh). The Enyaq Coupe iV 80 also puts its power on the road via the rear wheels with 150 kW and an 82 kWh battery (net 77 kWh). In addition to the larger battery, the Enyaq Coupe iV 80x and the Enyaq Coupe RS iV have a second motor on the front axle and offer all-wheel drive. The Enyaq Coupe iV 80x has a system output of 195 kW, the top model Enyaq Coupe RS iV provides 220 kW system output and a maximum torque of 460 Nm. It is the first all-electric Skoda RS model. As characteristic of the vehicle, Skoda lists a particularly dynamic driving experience, numerous black accents and the typical red reflector strip on the rear apron.
The Enyaq Coupe RS iV needs 6.5 seconds to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h and reaches a top speed of 180 km/h – 20 km/h more than the other versions of the new coupe. Exclusively within the Enyaq iV series, the Enyaq Coupe RS iV is also available in the eye-catching Mamba Green paint finish.
Greater efficiency and range thanks to good aerodynamics
The good aerodynamics of the new coupe, which with a drag coefficient of cd 0.234 undercuts the already good value of the Enyaq iV, contributes to the high efficiency of the new battery-electric Skoda top model. This value has a significant influence on the maximum range, which for the Enyaq Coupe iV 80 is up to 545 kilometers in the WLTP cycle. Thanks to short charging times, the new coupe is absolutely suitable for long journeys. With the optional trailer hitch, the Enyaq Coupe iV can also tow a braked trailer weighing up to 1200 kilograms on a 12 percent incline.
Interior with design selections and large 13-inch display, head-up display with AR
In the interior, as with the SUV, Skoda relies on holistically coordinated design selections in the style of modern living environments and natural, sustainably processed and recycled materials. The clear structure of the offer is intended to facilitate the individual configuration of the coupe with cleverly put together packages for ten subject areas and selected individual options. The central infotainment display with a screen diagonal of 13 inches and the 5.3-inch digital cockpit, which can be optionally supplemented with a head-up display with augmented reality, are on board as standard.

Emission-free mobility and the Skoda iV ecosystem
The new Skoda Enyaq Coupe iV enables emission-free, individual mobility and low operating costs. Via the Skoda iV ecosystem and the Powerpass, the use of 260.000 charging stations possible with a single card. Skoda supports convenient charging at home by offering its own wall boxes, including an installation service if required. In addition, an electric vehicle brings advantages in many European countries such as tax breaks, purchase bonuses, the use of special bus and environmental lanes or free parking in city centers as well as free access to local public transport (depending on the regulations of the countries).

I have to say that I like the Skoda design much better in recent years.
The Enyaq Coupe is a very attractive car, although I’m not really into SUVs.
You could say Model Y in beautiful 😉
So VW is now copying Tesla.. 🙂
It doesn’t matter, the main thing is electric.
Why does VW or Skoda etc. Always the best models at the end ? Such nonsense, if they had brought this model out directly then I would have one too, but no, the small motorized ones come first and then the all-wheel drive with more power, you don’t have to understand! Pity .
