Mlada Boleslav – With two design sketches, SKODA gives a first look at the refreshed KAROQ. Four years after its presentation in 2017, the medium-sized SUV model from the Czech car manufacturer is getting a visual and technical update. The digital media presentation will take place on June 30. held in November.

One of the two design sketches shows the redesigned, even more striking front of the modernized SKODA KAROQ. The wider, now hexagonal SKODA grille is adorned with striking double ribs, underneath which you can see a wide air intake. The headlights are narrower overall than before and reach up to the radiator grille. The dynamic appearance is also underlined by newly designed daytime running lights, which are now divided into two. A second light unit is arranged underneath, this is where the fog lights are located or – in the top version – a separate LED module. This arrangement of the lights ensures a characteristic four-eye light graphic in driving light mode in the dark.

The second sketch gives a first impression of the redesigned rear of the KAROQ. In addition to the longer rear spoiler and the optically revised rear apron with black diffuser, the new shape of the sharply drawn rear lights can also be seen. Like the headlights, these are flatter than before and emphasize the width of the vehicle. As is typical for SKODA, crystalline structures provide a special visual accent in the lights, which continues to characterize the characteristic C-illuminated graphics.

With the KAROQ as the KODIAQ’s ‘little brother’, SKODA took a further step in the implementation of its SUV offensive at the model presentation in 2017. The refreshed KAROQ celebrates its premiere as part of a digital media presentation on April 30. November.
