The “New Hyundai i30” will be presented in Geneva at the beginning of March. Hyundai is already showing a first look at the design of the refreshed compact car.

Hyundai modernizes the i30

Before the presentation at the Geneva Motor Show in early March, Hyundai is showing the first design images of the popular compact.

Just in time for the countdown to the Geneva Motor Show, Hyundai is serving up the first images of the revised i30, of course in the sporty “N-Line” look variant. The new honeycomb structure of the grille is clearly visible, the pattern of which differs subtly from that of the air intakes. The narrow LED lights and the new front apron design with a clearly visible front lip in a contrasting color and black elements in the air intakes that curve upwards make the front look significantly more aggressive than that of its predecessor.

The rear of the i30 is also said to have changed. Hyundai promises a new rear apron and newly designed taillights. But we will probably only see both in Geneva, as well as the modernized interior: a new, digital instrument display and a display that has grown significantly to 10.25 inches are used here.

What is also new is that the i30 station wagon will also be available in the N-Line. This should increase the already great popularity of the i30 even more, especially after demand has recently dropped somewhat: while there were still over 1800 registrations in 2015, in 2019 only just over 1200 i30 were registered.

Nothing is known about the Hyundai engine variants; the prices for the revised i30 are not yet fixed.
