With the Ford Electric F-100 Eluminator concept, the American automobile manufacturer is presenting an electric vehicle based on a historic F-100 pickup from 1978. This electric car comes with two powerful electric motors, which are also used in Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Edition 2021. And thus becomes an all-wheel drive vehicle. The Stromer puts 354 kW/ 480 hp on the road

Designed and developed by Ford Performance, the all-electric F-100 Eluminator concept was built in collaboration with MLe Racecars and sits on a bespoke Roadster Shop chassis. It is painted Avalanche Gray with Cerakote Copper accents by Brand X Customs, while the interior features a billet aluminum dashboard by JJR Fabrication and avocado-tanned leather upholstery by MDM Upholstery.
“From the start, Ford owners have personalised, customized and improved their vehicles – from changing the look to increasing performance. Our F-100 Eluminator concept is a taste of how we’re helping our customers transition to all-electric powertrains and adopt zero-tailpipe emissions, even on our historic vehicles.—Eric Cin, Global Director, Vehicle Personalization, Accessories and Licensing
The wonderful thing about Ford‘s concept car is that it can actually be turned into reality. Ford Vehicle Personalization and Ford Performance Parts are constantly offering their customers new options, such as the Eluminator e-crate motor, to switch to e-mobility. The E-Crate engine, part number M-9000-MACH-E, is available now from Authorized Ford Parts Dealers or online from Ford Performance Parts. With a selling price of 3.$900, it is aimed at designers looking for a transverse powertrain to electrify a range of vehicles from modern to classic, trucks and SUVs.

Over time, Ford Performance plans to work with some of the leading performance manufacturers to develop a broader list of Eluminator powertrain components, including battery systems, controllers and traction inverters, to close the loop for turnkey aftermarket electrification solutions.
